SUCCESSION SUCH ESSEN!

Sorry to say this, but I give Succession 2 thumbs down! There is no hero in the gross family featured on HBO and I think we all really need a hero these days. That being said, the show did make me truly grateful that I don't have to be an evil greedy power-hungry bastard to enjoy the finest quality food. But mostly I'm grateful my mom recovered from her surgery enough to enjoy this thanksgiving with us!

pomegranate and persimmon, arugula, parmesan and chopped caramelized walnuts
lemon olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette

potato-yam moussaka with caramelized leeks, cabbage, and gruyere cheese as a meat replacement

tufahija tart with tahini ladyfinger crust, topped raspberries and honey whipping cream

Charred delicata squash with fried green tomatoes, leeks, and corn topped with spicy curry leaf and black mustard seed oil, kale tangerine mustard salad. Curried crispy skin salmon or grated ricotta salata.

muddled sage thyme and fresh squeezed orange and lime juice
with orange curacao, tequila reposado, and mezcal

tostaditas with delicata squash, leeks, and snap peas, salsa macha,
shredded cheddar and avocado-lime crema, and tuscan kale salad

muddled rosemary lavender and orange peel with lemon and orange juice, maple syrup, and gin

poblano stuffed with sauteed cauliflower and purple yams, in roasted garlic tomato basil sauce
topped with melted cheddar, fresh tomato and snap pea salad, and olive oil toasted sour dough

and the grand finale-
slab of homemade orange marzipan (sorry Lisa), chocolate ganache, strawberry slices!
