SOUPER BOWL!

Lucky for me the chef prefers the kitchen to the couch, so we celebrated our Los Angeles victory with souper bowls of...

heirloom tomato and poblano pepper gazpacho with a dab of basil cilantro pesto and olive oil and balsamic (the best balsamic, EVER) drizzle!

Of course there were cocktails-
blood orange, lemon, rum, and cognac
(note my attempt to cut down on Sunday night drinking : )

and a starting lineup of rams BEETS bengals, with pizza and salmon downfield!
(If this makes no sense it's because I have no idea what I'm talking about-
but I mean c'mon, do any football fans actually read food blogs?!)

roasted golden beets over basil cilantro pesto, truffle burrata and heirloom pizzette, crispy skin salmon

Next up:
flatbread with sauteed carrots, tuscan kale, melted cheese or steak, tomato powder sprinkle

molten chocolate souffle with passion fruit sauce!

and then:
green lentils and eggplant, orange zest kale salad,
crispy skin salmon or truffle burrata with toasted quinoa crunchies

walnut, fig, and orange liqueur, and chocolate log

passionfruit caipirinha with dark rum splash

stuffed trio of green and red peppers, and delicata squash,
topped with Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir Schmeir!

Muddled makrut leaves and limes, fresh-squeezed orange margarita

followed by
Lindsey Jacob SMELL us some aromatic green curry!
Green curry with ramen noodles, roasted romanesco, and crispy tofu or albacore carpaccio!

And to our number one fan...if you are really, really, really good, you might get treated with your favorite dessert pick from the blog (sorry, in this family the ultimate prize is food, not phones!)
