NEWTON'S LADLE!

This week we feature Netflix' Newton's Cradle, which is not the light romantic immigrant comes to America love story I was expecting...quite the contrary-it is intense, I mean really intense! Just like this: 

Ladle of white miso- rice vinegar-tomato -shallot- avocado- and serrano chili broth, poured atop potato leek smoked paprika and thyme roast, with crispy sesame crusted salmon or feta crumbles, and a side salad of tuscan kale, golden cherry tomatoes, and snap peas.




the next day we have lavender simple syrup, blood orange, lemon, and gin martinis




and home made buckwheat bread, braised red cabbage in tomato-shiitake broth,
crispy salmon and tofu with splash  of parmesan, red pepper flakes, and tomato powder.



Next we have muddled rosemary, sage, blood orange, lime with Grand Marnier and Tequila 






Home made fettuccine with fresh tomatoes, basil, feta and balsamic drizzle



And we end with what was actually the meal of the week but I forgot to take pictures
(will the chef ever forgive me???)

1) Home made pita air bread was a vessel for
2) smoked pork belly with crunchy blistered skin 
3) grilled corn, leaks and black beans
4) grilled poblanos, scallions and avocado relish
5) spice pickled red cabbage 
6) roasted portobellos with parmesan, garlic and smoked paprika
7) cashew, roasted garlic and serrano crema  


and the grand finale!!!
(I hope the grand finale of Newton's cradle is as satisfying as this...)
