CULTURAL MELTING PLATE

Pick of the week is this cultural melting plate- Singapore inspired melting plate inspired by Somebody feed Phil - tzatziki, raw beet salad w green peppercorn mustard, lemon and almond meal, roasted tomatoes w basil and sherry vinegar, zucchini leek couscous, roasted eggplant chips, and braised tofu or braised short rib in Panang s auce. Amazing I have to say! And for dessert-passionfruit semifreddo tart, cashew ladyfinger and cocoa powder crumble, and roasted stoneground fruit.  And in case you felt something was missing, the dinner was preceded by this cocktail: peach cognac rum lemon and elderflower liqueur  Nothing better than frozen gazpacho on a hot summer day! Our passionfruit plant has been fruitful! But sadly, we've had some passionfruit roadkill Muddled strawberry-lime margarita with touch of orange curacao and smokey mescal followed by Melon gazpacho Zucchini-leak cus-cus,  chared eggplant with sherry vinaigrette tofu/short rib braised in penang curry sauce.
